ITINERARY TOUR TO SAHARA DESERT FROM SEVILLE 

Wednesday April 29TH: SEVILLE - CHEFCHAOUEN - MEKNES

• 05:45 hrs. Assemble in Seville, Prado de San Sebastián
• 06:00 hrs Depart to Algeciras; get the return tickets for the Ferry. 
• Board the Ferry to Tanger Med, Morocco. 
• 09:00 hrs Ferry leaves Algeciras. *Make sure to bring your passport. During the journey you have to stamp your passport at the Moroccan police desk
• Upon arrival in Tanger Med we will travel to Chefchaouen, an unforgettable little town in the Rif mountains. Its blue and white houses form a labyrinth of vivid colors not to be missed. 
• Guided visit to points of interest.
• Afterwards you will have some free time to eat  and then travel to Meknes.
• Arrival in Meknes and visit Bab el Mansur and the market.
• Arrival to the hotel in Meknes, Check in and dinner in the hotel.

Thursday april 30TH: MEKNES - MERZOUGA

• Breakfast and check out. 
• Depart for the south of Morocco to the Sahara desert, crossing the middle atlas –where you can see the wild apes- and the high Atlas. Stop on route to eat and continue to the oasis of Merzouga where you get your first taste of the Sahara. Its dunes stretch infinitely into the horizon and some rise more than 150 meters skyward.
• Arrival to the desert.
• In the evening camel trek in the dunes and free evening to enjoy the Sahara.
• Dinner on haimas
• We spend the night in haimas (communal tents) in the desert

Friday May 1TH:  SAHARA TOTAL

• Early wake up call into the Erg Chigaga dunes for sunrise. We guarantee that the experience of a Saharian sunrise is well worth the journey. It is absolutely breathtaking. This is one of the highlights of the trip and a memorable way to start this day.
• Breakfast
• Half-day excursion in 4X4 to Merzouga and the Great Erg Chebi "Desert of Dunes of the Finest Sand in which we will see the virgin desert, we will pass by the small oasis visited by the Berber nomads, the hamada (desert of stones) and places where fossils of millions of years old are found. During this trip in 4x4 we will make the stops you want to take pictures, walk and observe anything that catches your attention during the trip.
• Return by 4x4 to the kasbah.
• Lunch included.
• Free evening to enjoy the dunes of the Sahara.
• Dinner.
• After dinner we will depart FROM THE RECEPTION OF THE ALBERGUE for the north of Morocco overnight on route to Fez.

Saturday may 2TH: MERZOUGA - FEZ

• Breakfast on route.
• Arrival to Fez.
• Morning Tour of the old medina of Fez with a local guide. The old Medina is a true labyrinth, with more than 9,400 streets, tall buildings, and winding and narrow pathways that allow little light to reach the floor. We will explore the mysteries and wonders that fill the city of Fez. Fez was founded in the IX century and boasts the oldest Medina in Morocco, as well as one of the oldest universities in the world. The city is divided into three parts, and still maintains traditions that were lost to the Occidental world decades ago, like the artisan hide tanning. Walking through the streets of Fez is like taking a trip back in time, where potters, founders, and artisans coexist with foreign visitors. The sights, sounds, and smells of Fez are unforgettable.

• Free evening.
• Free time for dinner in Fez (Optional dinner show)

SUNDAY MAY 3TH, 2020 FEZ - ALGECIRAS - SEVILLA

• Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
• Departure for sightseeing in the coastal village of Assilah. 
• Later we continue to Tanger Med where you will board the ferry to Algeciras. 
• Transfer to Seville and end of the tour.
